Bad News, Good News

The Bad News is that 2/3 of Congress is Not on Our Side, the Good News is We’re still Technically Their Bosses

I am so unbelievably disappointed in America right now. So very disappointed in the people who are supposedly looking out for our best interests. It is becoming clearer by the minute that around two-thirds of our elected representatives do not work for us, or at the very least are being extorted by more powerful entities to push an agenda where we, the people, are largely an afterthought in their decision-making process for votes.

It is time to peacefully turn this whole thing around before it’s too late. Peacefully, not violently, peacefully. I love America, we all do, but the folks in charge, be they international three-letter organizations intent on spreading techno-fascism to all Western countries, or the three-letter domestic organizations rapidly taking away our rights and telling us what to think, what to say, how to dress, what kind of stove to use, etc., etc. It’s ALL control.

The good news is America is a malleable concept. The American “experiment,” while largely failing right now, can be turned around tomorrow. It just takes more guts than 2/3 of Congress currently has.

We can stop jumping into wars we clearly do not understand. We can stop spying on our own people. We can stop being so consumed with culture war nonsense and focus on how our rights are being ripped out from under our feet. Vague language in our bills can become clearer. We can thin out Washington D.C.’s entrenched bureaucratic class (or Deep State, depending on how paranoid you are). We can once again become the Shining City on the Hill. We can do all of this and more.

We just need to stop being so damn afraid of the stuff they tell us to fear all the time. We’re smarter than they think we are. It’s WE the people, not YOU, the ones pretending to care about the people. And We, the people, are sick of it.
